Medication and Student Item Pickup Information

Medication Pick up:

If your child has medication at school, please plan to pick up on Monday, May 18th between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Nurse Christine and Nurse Amy will be stationed right outside the front doors with the medication cart. Please use the carline and remain in your car for curbside service. If you need to contact our nurse directly, you can email Nurse Christine at christine.brown@hsv-k12.org.

Student Medication Pick up: Monday, May 18th - 12:30 -2:30 p.m.

Student item Pick-up: (class pictures, desk items, personal items left in the classroom)

We will have curbside grade level pick up in the car line for our parents to retrieve student items left in the classroom to include class pictures. Please note the times below. If you have more than one child and wish to collect all of your children's items at the same time, please coordinate with your child's teacher BEFORE Wednesday so they can deliver the items to the teacher for the grade level time that you designate. Again, parents will need to coordinate this with your child's teacher. Remember, we are all required to follow the social distancing guidelines as well, so we will only be outside distributing at the times below and only for those grade levels (and siblings if parents request).

Student pick up times:

Wednesday, May 20th - 12:00-1:00 p.m. - 5th Grade student item pick up

Wednesday, May 20th - 1:30 -2:30 p.m. - 4th Grade student item pick up

Thursday, May 21st - 1:00-2:00 p.m. - Kindergarten student item pick up

Thursday, May 21st - 2:00-3:00 p.m. - PreK student item pick up

*Remain in your car in the car line. When you pull up to your child's classroom teacher, pop your trunk and your child's teacher will place the items in your trunk. Please know this is only a time to retrieve items and keep the line moving as quickly as possible. In an effort to keep our teachers safe, we ask that you respect the social distancing rules and remain in your car. We will be wearing our gloves and masks as well.

Library Book Returns:

Please return all library books to the bins outside the front door. We will collect library books each day between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The bins will be picked up every afternoon at 2:30. During our student pick up on Wednesday and Thursday, we will move the library book bins down past the car line by the playground so you can drop off once you turn the corner. Teachers will not be able to accept library books from you during student pick up. Please do not try to exit your car in the car line during the student pick up times as this will cause congestion in the car line and we must remember our social distancing procedures. At this time, students and parents are unable to enter the building.

Students will keep their Chromebooks over the summer unless they are broken or your child will not return to an HCS school next school year.

If you have a broken device to return, please email Mrs. Ellett at suzan.ellett@hsv-k12.org to let her know you are dropping the device in the bin and the issue with the device.
